4 Nurture Sequences that help Increase Your Sales
What is a nurture sequence?
A nurture sequence (or what I like to call Marketing Automation) is a series of emails that are sent to inquiries or clients to help build trust and get them closer to making a purchase.
Nurture sequences work and advertise for you while you are busy focusing on the things you're good at!
Here are 4 types of nurture sequences that can help both automate and increase your sales.
Lead Nurturing Sequence
This is probably the most important and most used in business today. The rule of 7 says that inquiries or clients need to engage with a brand an average of 7 times prior to making a purchase decision.
(And in today's saturated online space, the number could be greater than that!)
Here's what a lead nurturing sequence might look like for a Marketing Agency.
Lead Magnet that solves a common problem.
⬇️
Welcome email with the Lead Magnet inside.
⬇️
After a few days, follow up on how the Lead Magnet is going.
(Could include a bonus Lead Magnet or Low Ticket Offer.)
⬇️
Share BTS or Case Studies/Testimonials from Clients.
(Include Strategy Call Upsell or Discovery Call.)
⬇️
Once call is booked, send a Thank You email.
(Can include a free resource to prep for the call.)
⬇️
Send a reminder email prior to this call.
(Remind them of this free resource.)
⬇️
Call Happens. Client is booked! 💰
You just built trust, got a new client and increased your profit all while the system did it for you!
Onboarding Sequence
This can be used if you have a digital product/service and you want to upsell to your high ticket offers.
Say a client buys one of your digital products or invests in a low-ticket offer. The client obviously trusts you enough to invest in something you offer, but they are still on the fence when it comes to spending more.
This is where an Onboarding Sequence comes in handy.
Client buys digital product/low-ticket offer.
⬇️
Thank You email with the product/service inside.
⬇️
Follow up on this low-ticket offer with helpful tutorials or other free resources.
⬇️
Share how your high-ticket offer co-exists with your low-ticket offer and include testimonials/case studies.
⬇️
Client reaches out to find out more about this offer.
You just upsold your high-ticket offer, all while relying on your automations to do the work for you.
Abandoned Cart Sequence.
Things happen. People click around. They find an offer they want to invest in, but then they get distracted and it just sits.
That's where the Abandoned Cart Sequence comes into play!
I'm assuming that, if you sell a digital product or offer a paid consultation call, you can see who has inquired or added items to their cart.
With Marketing Automation your system can automatically follow up with these clients once, twice or multiple times to remind them to solidify their purchase.
Sometimes all someone needs is a gentle reminder to continue with what they were doing!
Re-Engagement Sequence
This is perfect for those that have either worked with you in the past or have not engaged with your business in a while.
This can be a brand-new product/service launch sharing all the details of what's offered. Or it can be something like an upcoming sale for a secret offer to those already in your business' circle.
A re-engagement sequence might look a little something like this.
New Product/Service sent early to previous clients/email list.
⬇️
Email explaining the product/service and the basic BTS.
⬇️
Sharing how your product/service can help a client win.
(Include case studies/testimonials.)
⬇️
Last Call email before this New Product/Service opens to the public.
This makes them feel important, reminds them how your business can support them, and gives them that little bit of urgency at the end to pull the trigger now!
Marketing your business can be tough, especially in today's world. That's why utilizing Nurture Sequencing can be an easy way to build trust, while allowing your systems and automations to do the heavy work for you.
